Technology

The Magnetocardiography as technology is known since 1960. Prof. Dr: Park, medical doctor and cardiologist, as founder of the Biomagnetik Park GmbH had the idea to use the technology as daily help for the diagnose of his patients.

In close collaboration with the Korean Research Institute of Standard and Science (KRISS) was the first system based on Magnetocardiography developed for medical use. The system, CS-MAG III was further developed to generate reliable und accurate diagnostic evidence for the human heart.

 

In 2011, the first developed Magnetocardiograph was used for patient diagnosis. Since then, more than 6.000 patients where exam with different cardiac problems in clinics in Germany and HongKong.

In 2017 was the latest version of the CS-MAG III at the Charité, Campus Benjamin Franklin, Berlin installed for proof of the medical evidence, additional clinical trail in new fields of cardiology and as system for the emergency medicine.

The successor of the CS-MAG III, the new in 2020 available CS-MAG X will combine the broth taking results of the prevues CS-MAG III in a new design with state of the art technology, patient comfort and usability.

The brand new user interface, inspired from todays smart technology will be able to support all main functions with semi automatic functionality from patient data acquisition up to the support of the diagnose of the cardiologist with 2D & 3D functionality for the root finding of the cardiac problems.

The Magnetcardiography system CS-MAG X consists of a special designed magnetic shielding camber, the patient seat and the helium cooled measurement system. The acquisition workstation and the diagnostic doctors station is separated to allow simultanes working. The workstations are connected via a cloud system to allow multiple data comparison and expert support (country specific) in unclear cases.

During examination will be continuously with 500 pulses per second the magnetic field of the heart cell and their reaction on rest and stress measured.  Stress to the heart is provided only by turning a special made non magnetic stress weel comparable to like riding a bike.

The outcome is a measurement of the oxygen support of the heart cell in rest and stress.

The classic stress echo is less sensitive as the Magnetocardiography (MCG) and can only detect already advanced cardiac diseases, further examinations with nuclear medicine, cardiac CT or MRT are needed.

The Magnetocardiography (MCG) shows already on a very early stage changes on the cell oxygen level during examination proven by several medical studies of cardiac specialists. With the clear detection of the root and display in a 2D view is no further diagnostic procedure needed to verify the disease.
